VEQ-STU 900 is a 4-band semi-parametric equalizer with extensive controls. Thick lows and gentle mids make this EQ as desirable as the VEQ-4K series if not even more.

Description

The VEQ-STU 900 is a very flexible 4-band semi-parametric EQ with cut/boost controls and variable frequencies. Its High and Low Frequency bands feature switchable bell and shelf modes, while its Low and High Mid bands come with two bandwidth (Q) options. This variety drastically expands the functionality of the plugin thus the VEQ-STU 900 lets you shape the sound in fairly extreme ways without phasing or deforming it.

History

Modeled after the EQ channel strip of one of the best-sounding Swiss analog mixing desks, VEQ-STU 900 carries everything that made the hardware original stand out among its contemporaries – rock-solid lows, smooth mids, and airy highs.
