Rave Generation S1988

S1988 puts late-80s sampler character on any track. A warm preamp feeds 18 dB/oct resonant low-pass and high-pass filters, then a lo-fi stage reduces the sample rate (4 kHz to 44.1 kHz) and bit depth (4 to 16 bit). A granular engine stretches time from 25% to 400% or shifts pitch, and Transpose moves pitch and speed together, like varispeed. The tape loop captures the coming loop or the one you just heard, plays it from -200% to +200% speed, and overdubs with feedback; Resample prints what you hear back into the loop, effects included, generation after generation. Warble adds a slow tape drift, Reverse plays the stretch and the loop backwards, and auto-gain keeps the level steady. Windows VST3 and standalone app, macOS VST3 and AU, and a WebApp.
