Retro Custom drumset sound is dry, warm, punchy, deep with short sustain, and dry room ambiance.

Handy Drums now come with a MIDI Browser/Player included from V2 which is essential for quickly auditioning MIDI files as most DAW's lack this feature. This feature alone is must have tool in your toolbox.

In the center of the kit is an ultra-deep 10-inch custom-made maple snare drum, dry and deep-sounding. Providing punch and warmth in the low end is the 18-inch kick. The toms are all single-headed with napkins gaff-taped to them for that familiar pillow-like sound made famous in the ’70s.



This custom-made, one-of-a-kind, beech drumset was sampled in a retro fashion to make your beats sound warm and cozy.

This style of drum sound was utilized on countless hits of yesterday (Earth, Wind & Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Bill Withers, etc) as well as contemporary hits by artists such as John Mayer. Use this drumset for R&B, Old School, Disco, Dance, Pop, House, Classic Rock, or your original songs.
