The tail section has been enhanced as well, supporting interesting absorption effects, complex modulations, gated tails and customized tail shaping that lets you sculpt the spatial behavior with precision.

The all-new Diffuse Room spreads reflections rapidly into a soft, airy decay – ideal for modern mixes.

Full-Dense, an innovative concept, creates an ultra-smooth decay with no distinct reflections at all – a “perfect” reverb space that blends seamlessly into the sound.

No Resonances Allowed

Atomicreverb also continuously analyzes and corrects the reverberation response to prevent unwanted resonances – regardless of the room size.

The result is a pristine, undistorted spatial image that remains truthful to real-world acoustics unless intentionally shaped otherwise.

At the heart of atomicreverb 2 is a sophisticated 64-bit internal architecture with optional 2x oversampling that ensures precision and sonic integrity across the entire signal path.

Every reverb tail is generated in real-time, shaped by complex modulation and frequency-depending energy decay to create unique, evolving reflections.

A Workflow You’ll Enjoy

The all-new user interface combines clarity and speed, offering a powerful preset search with category counters, a streamlined previous/next preset navigation, and intuitive parameter displays such as reverb time and pre-delay now shown in host-synchronized musical values.

The peak meter can be adjusted for overflow sensitivity, and helpful tooltips can be enabled or hidden depending on your preference. Reverb time is no longer set by percentage but directly in seconds, allowing for more precise and musically intuitive adjustments.

Everything You Expect – And More

Of course, all the essentials you’d expect from a reverb plugin are still here. atomicreverb 2 features a fully integrated 5-band EQ with real-time spectrum analyzer, and parameters like Dry/Wet, Gain, and Density can be locked to maintain consistency while browsing presets.

Preset management is enhanced through A/B comparison, undo/redo functionality, and easy XML-based sharing via the system clipboard.

Using the integrated MIDI-learn function, parameters can be assigned to MIDI controllers via your host-software.

atomicreverb 2 also supports an arbitrary scalable/resizable user-interface and two different skins.

For Windows-Systems a standalone application is included to use atomicreverb 2 directly as a reverb-effect through your audio-hardware. An easy way to use it as an effect unit for your live-performance without a DAW!
