The UnFairchild 670M II Plugin is a painstaking recreation of the coveted Undertone Audio UnFairchild 670M mkII Vari-Mu Compressor. Developed in collaboration with MIXLAND, it is the product of more than six months of testing, measuring, listening, experimenting and refining to capture the unique vibe and character of the hardware. Alongside the classic Vari-Mu compression behavior, the plugin adds an Output Level control, a Wet/Dry Mix for parallel compression, and an overall THD control to dial in the harmonic character of the compression.
